New Call for social science Exchange Visits with India
15 februari 2010
The third Call for Exchange visits between India and the Netherlands has been launched by the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR) and the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), with a deadline of 18 May 2010.
This joint Scholar Exchange scheme is aimed at staff with an academic or research appointment, up to senior professors, with a clear preference for young scholars. The ICSSR-NWO collaboration wishes to strengthen the quality and potential of research in both countries by building greater research interaction between scholars and their institutions in India and the Netherlands. The visits should to take place in 2011 at a host institute in the visiting country and with a host who is included in the application. For NWO the Division Social Sciences (MaGW) and WOTRO Science for Global Development are involved in this scheme under the Social Science Collaboration India-Netherlands (SSCIN). The Dutch scholars who want to visit India should submit their proposal through NWO, Indian scholars who want to visit the Netherlands should submit their proposal via ICSSR.
