Investing in ambition
In order to realise our ambitions, we set standards of quality that need to be met – both by ourselves as an organisation and by our staff members. That is why NWO strongly emphasises on every form of further training, employability and career development.
- NWO wants its staff members to perform well in their work, to be employable on a flexible basis and to flourish their talents. Chapter 6 of the Collective Labour Agreement for Research Centres 2008-2010 covers Training, employability and career development.
- More specifically targeted at the individual staff worker is our approach to Professional Development Plans (POPs).
- For those writing their theses we strongly emphasise their commitment on further training and competence development. Facilities in this area are being supported.
