30 juni 2010
As result of the first call of the Global Health Policy and Health Systems (GHPHS) research programme, the Steering Committee last week awarded five high quality research programmes. The Steering Committee has high expectations of the ability of these programmes to demonstrate how health systems can be improved, and how improved health systems can contribute to reaching the Millennium Development Goals.
The following programmes have been awarded with a grant:
- Accelerating progress towards attainment of MDG 4 and 5 in Ghana through basic health systems function strengthening
- Community Based Health Insurance in Ethiopia
- Developing Sustainable Community Health Resources in Poor Settings in Uganda
- Empowering the community towards malaria elimination
- Towards a client-oriented health insurance system in Ghana
