Minister Cramer Commits to Sustainable Earth

On 22 May,  (NPDA). The partnership aims for more cooperation between the large number of parties involved in research into the human effects on climate, the environment and ecosystems. The NPDA will play a crucial role in giving substance to the NWO research theme Sustainable Earth. 

The call for a National Partnership for a Sustainable Earth (NPDA) partly comes from the research community. There is a need for more structural communication within the research field of 'Sustainable Earth'.

• Creating a long term network of fundamental and applied knowledge and research in a 1multidisciplinary context;
• Connecting various research activities; aiming for synergy; preventing overlap; identifying blind spots; improving efficiency in the chain of knowledge; dealing with the knowledge paradox,
• Organising a long term dialogue between researchers and the national government to generate, from policy, knowledge questions.
